What you’ll do

• Carrying out supplier monitoring, as well as organizing feedback and supplier discussions
• Data collection and ensuring its correctness and completeness, archive maintenance and monitoring deadlines for internal and external reports and correspondence
• Processing incoming product-related customer concerns and creating statistics for purchasing (food, non-food, fruit and vegetables), as well as independently requesting information from suppliers for documentation
• Implementation of audits, sample planning and shipping, internal and external consumer tastings, quality control of product groups, processing reports and documentation in accordance with the Quality Assurance specifications
• Quality control of meat, fish, wine or other product groups
• Risk assessment for critical customer concerns, audit results and supplier reports
• Conducting and leading regular meetings of the risk team in the food/non-food area

• Ensuring translations and checking declarations regarding compliance with legal requirements, internal guidelines and fulfillment of consumer expectations
• Communication with laboratories for food analysis, suppliers, institutes, customers and authorities regarding food law and other technical issues

What you'll need

• University Degree – Technology faculty, Faculty of agriculture and food or other relevant Natural sciences faculty
• Previous work experience, preferably related with food/fruit and vegetables laboratory analysis and control
• Fluent English
• German is advantage
• Willingness to travel of approx. 10-20%.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn and suggest initiatives
• Quality awareness and a performance-oriented working style
• High sense of responsibility and confidence in building long-term customer relationships and addressing their needs
• Driving License B-category
