What you’ll do
- Carry out, be responsible for and control negotiations with national suppliers
- National and international planning of required production quantities
- Daily market observation and setting of sales prices as well as observing the weather situation to identify possible bottlenecks in the supply of goods
- Coordination and development of the supplier network
- Carrying out market and trend analyses, product range designs, development and quality improvement of the product portfolio based on current trends
- Logistical planning and optimization of flows of goods
- Checking and approving declarations in coordination with the QA department and the applicable legal regulations
- Ensuring ongoing communication and negotiations with national suppliers and internal interfaces
- Carrying out analyzes of key figures as well as deriving measures
What you’ll need
- At least 2 years experience in purchasing (preferably of food items)
- Valid driving license
- Fluent English; German would be an advantage, or willingness to learn German at a fast pace (language courses provided by the company)
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of product seasonality, as well as trends in varieties, product development and packaging
- Persuasive communicator with great presentation skills and high sense of responsibility
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to recognize optimization
Willingness to travel abroad for training up to 12 months (expenses for regular home visits are covered by the company)
