What you’ll do
• Management and coordination of team members in line with company principles.
• Regular monitoring of compliance with applicable law and internal regulations.
• Person responsible to the customs administration for the status of the authorized consignee and for simplified customs clearance procedure on site in the company.
• Preparing of customs declarations primarily for foodstuffs, as well as knowledge of other goods and customs tariffs, updating of data on articles.
• Preparation of the entire documentation for customs clearance of the goods.
• Process applications and permits from the EXIM electronic permit system.
• Exchange of information with the competent customs office through the NCTS system.
• Control of all customs declarations issued by other forwarders and approval of the payment for the customs invoice.
• Daily follow-up of all changes to customs procedures (for authorized recipients and for regular imports), as well as ongoing monitoring of legal changes on the imports of goods.
• Coordination with the customs administration, inspections and the competent customs office regarding the customs clearance procedure at the company site.
• Responsibility for carrying out the temporary import of pallets.
• Submission of customs declarations to an internal customs office.
What you’ll need
• University degree – preferably in Commercial/Foreign trade , Freight forwarding and/or Customs
• 5 years professional experience (at least 2 years managerial experience)
• Fluent knowledge of English Language
• German is an advantage / Of course the company will provide intensive language courses
• Driving license – B category (active driver)
• License for representation in customs procedures
• Self-initiative
• Results-oriented
• Ability to take decisions
• Organizational skills
• Willingness to travel abroad for a training period of app. 3 months
